Safari Ltd - The Goose has been domesticated by humans for at least 7,000 years. The original species used for domestication in Europe, Africa and much of Asia was the Greylag Goose. A common breed of domestic goose is the Emden Goose of Germany, known for its all white coloration.

Scientific Name: Anser anser domesticus
