Italeri - The "Land Rover" was certainly one of the most famous symbols of "made in England" on 4 wheels and is in fact a milestone in the history of off-road vehicles. It was born in the immediate post-war period, with the first prototypes made in 1947. It was characterized by the 4x4 four-wheel drive and a robust and reliable structure capable of facing the most difficult and demanding routes. The aluminum bodywork made it lighter but, at the same time, more resistant to corrosion and long lasting. In 1971, when the Series III was introduced, more than a million copies had already been produced and manufactured. Available both in the 88-inch "standard step" version or in the 109-inch "long wheel base" version. Thanks to its extraordinary versatility it was used both in the military and civil sectors.
