The squirrel monkey is a New World monkey that is made up of 5 different subspecies. Found in the tropical forests of Central and South America, the squirrel monkey is commonly referred to as the “death’s head monkey” due to its ominous facial features.
Scientific Name: Genus Saimiri

Size and Color: Although squirrel monkeys are occasionally black, almost all of them share the sandy tan fur and black and white facial colorations of this figurine. Standing 5.75 inches long and 2.5 inches wide, our squirrel monkey statuette is roughly the size of a soda can on its side.
