Revell - The Panavia Tornado, a joint project of German, British and Italian aviation industry, revolutionized military aviation in the 1970s. For the first time, the innovative swivel wing design enabled the combination of short-start ability, high underdress speed in deep flight and efficient marching characteristics. The IDS variant (Interdiction/Strike) was specially developed for air-floor attacks, while the British GR.1 was designed as a multi-purpose variant. To this day, the Tornado shapes the image of modern air forces and is considered a milestone of European aviation technology.
